About Shivani Saraf

Shivani Saraf grew up in an environment steeped in fashion and textiles. She hails from a design and textile family – her father runs textile and spinning industries, and her mother has studied fashion design from J.D. Institute (Jaipur). Creative thinking is not just in her DNA but was also an important component of her upbringing. Born and brought up in Mumbai, Shivani was always attracted to fabrics and garments. Shivani pursued this passion by graduating in fashion design from ISDI (Indian School of Design & Innovation) – Parsons, Mumbai. To further excel in her skills, she also pursued a master's degree in fashion business management from the University of Westminster, London, United Kingdom. All these degrees and certificates helped her excel in her talent and enabled her to launch her label, Barrooni, in 2021. Shivani is an innovator and focuses on building a brand that is accessible, relevant, and far-reaching. Shivani aims to provide customers with what they want at an affordable price.
